Over the years he has grown his customer base by providing expertly crafted rods with intricate thread wraps alongside acrylic and cork grips. As you will see, Josh's skill at blending and shaping acrylic brings a completely new dimension to custom rod building.

Perfect Choice Custom Rods specializes in building casting, spinning, and ice fishing rods. After a free up-front conversation, Josh provides you with a set of rod options that will best compliment the type of fishing you like best. Once you settle on the components which create the perfect balance of rod performance and build precision you get to select the thread patterns, colors, and grip combinations that make your rod both perform and look purpose-built for you.
The Materials
Perfect Choice Custom Rods has Level 2 and Level 3 customization capabilites. PCCR is most proficient at building on graphite and fiberglass blanks. As you will see, Josh is beyond his years in thread application (wrapping). Some of his most popular designs are red, white, and blue flag wraps. He is one of very few craftsmen that can blend and turn acrylic for his customers. PCCR can use cork, layered cork, and EVA to get you the exact look and feel that works for you. His expanding customer base knows how unique his capabilities are in building his custom acrylic grips.
