I have been making custom rods for over 12 years. I will build a rod made just for you, using high-quality rod blanks and components (grips, seats, guides). Being located in Wisconsin puts me in lake country and premium fly fishing water. With this proximity to so much water, I have taken my time to tune my craft right in my backyard.
Purpose Built
I have a range of capabilities. I have been building custom fishing rods for salt and freshwater my entire career. He's adept at finding the best Spinning, Casting, or Fly Rod for the water you like to fish. I am no stranger to outfitting your custom fishing pole with components that withstand saltwater corrosion and the brutal cold of ice fishing. My why for launching my business was I knew I could build much better rods than the big-name rod brands we all see in stores today.
The Materials
In addition to building several different types of rods, I select and build on the rod blank material that fits the type of fish you like to do. I am comfortable finding the right balance, whether it is Graphite, Carbon Fiber, or Fiberglass fishing rods.
I acquire rod blanks with varying composite materials to get you the perfect base for you to use. In our fiber rods, I know their construction process down to the epoxy resin they use to build the blank. Each one of these blank types brings unique properties that, when coupled with your needs, ensure the final product performs exactly how you'd like.
